Dear Race Participant,
We regret to inform you that due to unforeseen land use issues, we will have to cancel the half marathon portion of this year’s run. After exploring numerous alternatives, we did not feel we were able to develop a route that would enable you to safely complete the half marathon distance.
The Guadalupe Sports Hall of Fame recognizes that you have been training hard for this event and apologizes for any inconvenience the cancellation may bring you.
We will still be holding a 5K run this Saturday and we invite you to participate. We will gladly refund the difference in entry fees on race day if you choose to participate. If you opt to not join us for the 5K run, please let us know and we will provide a full refund.
